With School Closed, Presidents Day is Time for Fun

School may be closed for Presidents Day on Feb. 18, but the JCC will be the place to be for kids in grades Kindergarten through 6th grade.

From 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., kids can spend an exciting day at the JCC and go on a field trip to Galaxy Golf and Games. Extended wrap-around care is available from 8 to 9 a.m., and from 3:30 to 6 p.m. for an additional fee.

"We will enjoy Galaxy's amazing indoor fun gym, play some games for prizes, and if it's not too cold, hit the links for some miniature golf," said John Weaver, Children and Youth Program director. "Afterward, we will return to the JCC for swimming, so bring your suit. What an awesome way to celebrate Presidents Day!"

The fee is $50 for JCC members and $70 for non-members. (Save $10 off your fee by registering by Monday, Feb. 11.) Full-time Kinderclub fee is $20, with no early-bird discount. A sibling discount of $5 off for the second child and an additional $3 off for the third and subsequent child also is offered.

Cancellation policy: refunds will only be issued for cancellations made 24 hours in advance of the program start time. Please send your child with a swim suit, towel, dairy lunch and a drink.
