Mondays – Balloon Art – Join Randy Zacks and Ballooniacs for an amazing class all about balloons! Children will learn the basics of balloon art and get to make their very own balloon animals! All students will be provided with balloons and an inflator so you can practice at home!
Grades: K-6th

Tuesdays – Guitar – Steven Loeb returns for guitar lessons at the JCC. Students will learn the basics of guitar tuning, reading music, and other guitar skills. Classes are by appointment and last 30 minutes. Student must provide guitar.

Blue Jackets After-School Hockey – Kids get to learn how to play the game of Hockey while exercising and having fun. Real Hockey equipment is used to ensure the safety of the participants. Mouth guards and shin guards are not required but encouraged.

Wednesdays – Clay Class – Join Nancy Rosen for an exciting new class at the JCC! Students will experiment with different types of clay, glaze and a variety of sculpture techniques. Students will also get to use the kiln located in the new Zusman building.

Thursdays – Tae Kwan Do – This traditional Korean martial arts class will be taught by Ernie Reyes' World Martial Arts Association. Taekwondo promotes self esteem building and self discipline. Fee includes nine sessions of taekwondo and a celebration/rewards day featuring each student breaking a board and receiving a taekwondo present. Uniforms are not required, but can be purchased upon request.

Mondays – Young Rembrandts – Join Young Rembrandts for an exciting new drawing class at the Columbus Jewish Day School! Young Rembrandts is a nationally known program that teaches drawing skills while developing learning skills that give children an academic advantage in the classroom. They have previously worked with the preschools at the main JCC and the JCC New Albany.
