The JCC North Preschool will hold an Open House and Tour for families living on the Northwest side of the city during the week of Jan. 14-18, from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. each day. The preschool is located at 1985 Swansford Dr., Dublin.
The preschool - one of three the JCC operates (College Avenue and New Albany being the other two locations) - is accredited by the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC), and offers a comprehensive education for young children in a warm Jewish setting.
"The JCC North Preschool has classes for infants through Kindergarten-bound, with both part and full-time openings for the 2008-2009 school year," said Nikki Henry, JCC North director. "JCC North has so much to offer our families, so come take a tour and find out what makes our site so special!"
In addition to the Open House week, Henry also will be at Congregation Beth Tikvah on Sunday, Jan. 13, during Religious School hours and will be available to answer any questions about the JCC North Preschool at that time.
For more information, contact Henry at (614) 764-2414 or nhenry@columbusjcc.org. For more information about the JCC Preschools, visit the JCC website at www.columbusjcc.org.

The children at the JCC North Preschool had a rare treat recently when Wendi and Michael Grimaldi visited to conduct a "Winter Cooking Class" with the children. Above, Michael teaches a group how to make and toss pizza dough, as Skylar Hogan looks on.
Saturday night need not be boring – especially when there's a dinner and a movie to go to at JCC North! Kids, ages 2 through 12 are invited to a night of fun, eating pizza and watching Shrek the Third on Saturday, Jan. 5. The event, which also will include an ice-cream dessert and fun, ogre-some activities, will be held from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. Fee is $30 for JCC members and $40 for nonmembers, with a sibling discount of $5.
