‘Arts in Ohio Travel Planner’ released
Columbus arts organizations were promoted in the Arts in Ohio Travel Planner, which ran in the September issue of Ohio Magazine and will be distributed through August 2010. Arts in Ohio is a collaboration of Experience Columbus, the Ohio Arts Council, Positively Cleveland and CincinnatiUSA.com.

Huntington Park named Ballpark of the Year
BaseballParks.com selected Huntington Park, home of the Columbus Clippers, as its Ballpark of the Year over 11 other new or renovated facilities. The competition included Yankee Stadium and Citi Field in New York and the renovated Kauffman Stadium in Kansas City.

Today Show features German Village
German Village and Oktoberfest were featured on the Today Show on Aug. 15 in a segment titled “Travel abroad in your own backyard,” with Travel + Leisure editor Mark Orwoll.
Grange Insurance Audubon Center opens
Columbus gained another tourist attraction when the Grange Insurance Audubon Center opened in August. Located on the Whittier Peninsula, it is one of the first centers in Audubon’s history to bring hands-on conservation and nature-based learning to the core of a major American city.
Experience Columbus recognized as industry leader in social media
Columbus was recognized as an industry leader in social media in a recent survey of 190 convention and visitors bureaus. In response to the question "What destinations do you believe to be the industry leaders?" Columbus ranked No. 2 (tied with Chicago and Portland), behind only Philadelphia.
